As the decade soon comes to an end, and as the 'Eclipse' update for deviantART is going to be forced upon us, it might be a good time for some reflection. First, a big thank you to all of my friends, watchers and acquaintances on dA. While I paint, draw and create art for mostly selfish reasons (to express myself, to relieve stress, to learn something new etc.), your comments and support have helped see me through some less-inspiring times. So thanks. Second, this time last year I made a deal with myself that I should endeavor to upload at least something to dA once a week. I am happy to say I was able to do this for 50 out of 52 weeks. This was a fun exercise and I'm still contemplating on whether I should continue it next year. Third, in terms of goals, I have to confess that I have not had many specific goals for my artistic attempts. Nonetheless, about a year ago I checked my stats on dA and the one number that somewhat summarizes "artistic quality" (if there is such a metric)
